Parking System

In the first semester of my second year at Thomas More University of Applied Science I grouped up with classmates to create a parking system for 3IT.

The parking system would read the license plate of the car in front of the barrier and keep track of where this car parked. This was done using light-dependent-resistors. An overview was available for the people working at the parking via a website.

The project turned out well after two late working nights before the presentation. As a team I think we can say we learned a lot!

Personally, I helped with most of the back-coding of the system.

This project has taught me to keep going when thinks take a turn for the worst. When a couple of days before the presentation everything went wrong, we worked late a couple of evenings until we got everything to work.

Big thanks to the entire team for motivating and pushing everyone not to give up!
