Effective Energy

In collaboration with 3IT our team developed a system to get insight in the consumption and production of electricity.

A smart electricity meter was connected to a raspberry pi to send data so a self-written API. This API communicated to the database and the web application.

On the web application, the end-user is able to monitor multiple meters at the time. For each meter, a dashboard is available to get insight in the consumption and production of electricity over a selected period of time. As well as the current rate of consumption or production.

On demand of the company, a feature was developed to get more insight into top consumption and production times in the last seven days. As well as a feature to instantly create a report for administrative purposes.
